General booking conditions



These are the general terms and conditions of sale that apply to all reservations and transactions made at our Danna Portuguese Design Houses accommodation. By making a reservation or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these conditions:



Reservation

By making a reservation on our website, you accept the following general conditions.

To make a reservation, you must provide accurate and complete information, such as your personal details, dates of stay, number of guests, etc.

Your reservation is only confirmed when you receive a confirmation email from us. If you do not receive this email, please contact us by phone at +351 937887947 or by email at [email protected].



Check-in and Check-out

Guests must respect the check-in and check-out times established by the property to allow for cleaning and preparation of rooms for the next guests.

Check-in Policy : The room is available from 4:00 PM , unless early check-in is available.

Check-out Policy : The room must be vacated by 10:30 AM , unless late check-out is available (additional fees may apply).



Rates, Payments and cancellation

The reservation payment is made according to the conditions indicated at the time of booking, such as the full amount of the reservation, service fees, and applicable cancellation policies. Cancellation and date change policies vary depending on the reservation type and rate selected.



Guest Responsibilities

Guests must respect the property's rules and policies during their stay.

Guests are responsible for the safety of their personal belongings. The property is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage.

Guests are responsible for keeping the accommodation and all its contents in good condition throughout their stay and for leaving the property in the same condition in which it was found, allowing for reasonable wear and tear.

Guests are kindly requested to report any malfunction, damage or breakage as soon as possible so that repairs or replacements can be carried out promptly, minimizing any inconvenience to current or future guests and preventing further damage to the property.

Any significant damage resulting from negligence, misuse or intentional acts shall be the sole responsibility of the guests. The cost of any repairs, replacements or additional cleaning required may be charged in full to the guests.

If it is determined that guests have deliberately damaged the property or its contents, or have committed acts of vandalism, we reserve the right to require all guests to vacate the property immediately, without entitlement to any refund. In such cases, the matter may be reported to the relevant authorities, and legal proceedings may be initiated to recover all losses incurred, including the cost of repairs and any associated legal expenses.



Accommodation Responsibility

We are committed to providing quality service and ensuring your stay is enjoyable. However, we cannot be held responsible for any disturbances or accidents beyond our control. If you experience any problems or complaints during your stay, please notify us immediately so we can take appropriate action to resolve the situation.

We recommend that you carefully read the general terms and conditions before booking. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us for further clarification.



Quiet Hours

From a certain time, after 10:00 PM and until 8:00 AM , guests are asked to maintain silence to avoid disturbing neighbors or other guests who wish to rest.

No parties or noisy events allowed.

To ensure guest peace and respect for the rules of coexistence, parties or noisy events cannot be held on the premises.

Respect for the Property and Other Guests

Guests must respect common and private property, as well as other guests staying at the property.



Security Rules

Guests must respect established safety rules, such as the proper use of facilities.



Breakage Deposit Policy

Deposit Requirement: A security deposit of €300 to €1,000 (depending on the property type) will be required on the day of your check-in to protect us from any damage or loss that may occur during your stay.

Deposit Amount: The deposit amount is €300/€500/€1,000, depending on the property type.

Refundable Deposit: The deposit will be refunded after verifying that everything is safe and in order. This can usually take up to 15 days after check-out.

Refund Processing

Refunds for cancellations, if applicable, will be processed within 15 business days to the original payment method.



Partial Stays

No refunds will be provided for early departures or unused nights, unless otherwise specified at the time of booking.



Long-Term Stays

Long-term stays have a minimum length of 30 days and a maximum length of 160 days, for dates between November 1st and March 31st.

Payment for the reservation must be made in full up to 60 days before the check-in date, and the same conditions for booking, canceling, or changing dates apply as for other rates.

A breakage deposit must be paid on the day of check-in, or before, in the amount usually equivalent to one month's stay, or other amount previously agreed with the guest. This deposit will be returned at the end of the stay, after the property has been inspected, and providing that no damage has been caused to the property during the stay.

A weekly cleaning service is included in the long-term rate, as well as laundry service for bed linen and towels every two weeks. This service is free and is a condition of the long-term reservation terms and cannot be canceled. If the guest requests additional cleaning days or additional laundry services, an extra fee will be charged.

Electricity and water consumption costs are not included in the rate and will be borne by the guest. The amount of electricity and water consumption will be indicated to guests before the check-in date and may vary throughout the stay if consumption is above normal. Payment must be made during the stay or on the last day of the stay, before check-out, as previously agreed with the client.



Unforeseen Circumstances

In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, acts of war, civil strikes), cancellation terms may be adjusted at the discretion of the accommodation management.

We are not responsible for any changes or cancellations of your reservation caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to war, natural disasters, civil unrest, government restrictions, pandemics, or other force major events.



Communication

Guests will be promptly informed of any changes to cancellation terms due to force of major events.



Pet Policy

Pets are allowed upon prior request.

A non-refundable fee of 100 Euros per stay may be charged to cover additional cleaning expenses (for long term stays the amount may be different).



Smoking Policy

Non-Smoking Policy: Danna Portuguese Design Houses is a smoke-free property. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas, including guest rooms and public spaces.

Designated Smoking Areas: Designated outdoor smoking areas are available for guests who wish to smoke. Guests who violate the smoking policy may be subject to additional cleaning and deodorization fees.



Guests Information required:

Passport details of all guests will be required for AIMA border control.

If traveling by plane, guests must provide their travel details (flight numbers, date, time and departure/arrival airports). This information will be helpful in case there any flight delays or cancellations.



Airport Transfers and other services:

Airport transfers or other services like groceries shopping, Restaurant bookings, Yoga classes, In-Home Spa Services, Boat tours, Tuk Tuk tours can be organized upon request.
